Hiei's head was pounding. Translating everything from English to Japanese was making his classes considerably more difficult. He was out of practice and feeling rather overwhelmed with the whole situation. All he wanted was to go back to his room, listen to some music, and probably take a nap.

His annoying roommate was perched by the door when he came in, but Hiei brushed past him without a second glance. They were stuck together for right now, and ignoring him was the best answer he'd come up with. However, it was harder to ignore him when he saw his bed.

Cursing in Japanese, he dropped his bag on the floor and set a hand on his bed. What the hell kind of a joke was this? He turned to glare at his roommate, eyes narrowing and third eye opening behind his bandanna. "What the hell is this?"

Ah, the ignoring bit. He figured that he would probably do exactly that until he saw the bed. Looking completely innocent he made his tone something sing-song. "It was an accident," he squeaked.

Though, well, it certainly was everything but an accident. His perch on the chair was disrupted as he was already getting ready to bolt should he get into some real trouble. However, Haku's curiosity was getting the most of him and he stayed put, head tilted to the side as he kept a close eye on the next actions that would happen.

It was probably a dumb move, in hindsight.

"An accident? Do you honestly think I'm going to believe that?"

This was more than the overwhelmed teen was ready to deal with. If his roommate wanted to play this game, than they could play it. Hiei's eyes tracked over to Haku's desk, where there was paperwork scattered across the top. Specifically, the paperwork that went with dorm assignments. He didn't even bother to take his bandanna off, burning it instead and setting the papers on fire.

Along with the desk. Not exactly what he had intended to do, but it made the point.

"But it was!" He squeaked out in vain, not moving once he saw that bandanna get burned off. Oh, crap, that whole fire thing. That wasn't what he'd really meant for him to do, though it did kind of go along with his whole little putting the fire out ordeal.

"Erm... Is that not a little over kill?" he muttered, deciding to try and get some ice on top of the desk to see if the melted ice could possibly put the fire out. It was worth a try and make him useful in saving the damn thing. Well, okay, maybe.
