FRENCH CLASSROOM THREADS HERE

The chairs and desks are all arranged into some kind of horrifying fort construction in the corner of the room furthest from the door, with one window as an escape hatch. There's an extension cable for anyone who managed to bring electronic equipment with them.

[Rikku's sneaked past enough crazy security things (of family!) to know most of the tricks. Deep hoods, clothes that hide her shape, boots, and dark glasses should do most of the work for her. Now, if only she knew how to make the stupid cameras and stuff malfunction just a tiny bit...

She gets to the classroom, looks around, and frowns]

I'm not so sure that keepin' that window uncovered is a good idea...

[Yuffie emerges from the fort - or at least, it's probably Yuffie under the raggedy animal cloak THING she's wearing - to inspect this claim]

... huh, maybe. Think she can look in?

[Yuffie, you are not the strangest thing Rikku has seen. She blinks at Yuffie's get up, but nods]

Maybe? I mean, you saw the post-it notes, didn't ya? For all we know she could have some creepy spy-power. Or, y'know, some other teacher could see us and report us.

THE OPPOSITION

Across the way in the west wing, on the third floor, is Soifon's office. At the window is a video camera jury-rigged to a sniper scope to enhance the zoom, aimed at the window to the French classroom. The lights are out, and for 14 minutes and 54 seconds at a time, Soifon's eyes are on the monitor of her computer. In a separate window from the video feed is Notepad, and she's taking names of those she's familiarized herself with the faces of, which is roughly 60% of the student body at this point.

On the inside of the doors to each dorm building is a post-it note:

Return to your room now, and I may be lenient.

On the door to the French classroom, there is a third post-it note with the following message:

Last chance.

Should any of them be removed or disposed of, they will be replaced within fifteen minutes.

UPDATE ONE

The French classroom windows are now covered. Rikku and Yuffie are marked with asterisks. Relocation to the classroom directly adjacent to the meeting site commences. Soifon takes full advantage of the rooms' shared ventilation system and her own small frame. Operation Ceiling Cat begins.

Naruto and Sasuke have been highlighted for rule violations unrelated to the curfew, with an additional note to self to consult Emma regarding Duo, Sakura, and Peter. She is, at this point, officially frustrated, and may begin to show bias against any further attempts to get into her head.

Enjolras does his best to clear the notes off his door when he can. He does righteous indignation well, and doesn't appreciate his classroom door being used as a forum for other teachers' notes.

[Not knocking on Riza's door. Too much noise. She's just gonna head in instead.]

[Like Riza's not already suited up. There's an empty can of Monster sitting on her desk. She's been planning for this.]

I aim to misbehave, Arisawa. Let's do this.

[Eeeexcellent. She closes the door behind her, crosses the room, and opens the window.]

For freedom!

[Taking a backward dive out the window, she lands perfectly on her feet. It's clear she's been rehearsing this exact jump.]

[And Riza's just gonna stare for a moment. She wasn't expecting that.]

[Her jump, because of course she has to follow, is a little less graceful (what with the improvisation), but still awesome. She leaps out, transforms her arms mid-flight, then tucks and rolls upon landing, using her famously squishy arms to cushion her fall.]

[Rules? What are rules? Oh right those things that totally should get broken whenever possible!]

[Duo's entirely too good at this sort of game. Life on the streets and then some time spent doing... less than wholesome thieving activities has given him all the experience he needs. Of course the fact that he's invisible is somewhat of an unfair field advantage.]

[He's moving somewhere between the dorms and the classroom more than willing to help if anyone needs it. Word for the wise he might just start pulling tricks if he gets entirely too bored. He's not a saint after all.]
