As it turns out, she wasn't actually alone. Cloud was also looking to relax in the living room for a while. When he saw Tifa he went over to sit next her on the couch.

"Hey, Tifa" He said, smiling at her.

She should have known she wasn't entirely by herself. Cloud's rpesence was almost immediately noted by her empathy, and in turn she closed her mind up as not to intrude on his thoughts. When he sat down, she opened her eyes up and looked over at him, smiling happily in return.

"Cloud, hello! How have you been?"
