[Even if he had other things to do (and he always did, really, since there was always something), it was nice to just sit sometimes. And as far as he was concern there was no better place to do that then the roof.

It certainly kept the questions away, anyway.]

[He passes by the figure, thinking it's some security guard of some sort ready to yell at him to get to his dorm and such, but as he gets closer, he sees that (as far as he knows anyway) no security guards are that hairy.]

Chewie? S'that you?

[Of course it is, and the rumble that answers his question as much as says so. Besides, he'd be honestly surprised if there was anyone else quite as hairy around the place.]

[Yup, that's Chewie alright. Pretty sure his status as hairiest in the Academy is safe.]

[He starts to land his board.]

[He tries to muster a smile, but it's clear his heart isn't in it.]

Why does it seem that nearly every time I find you up here, you look like someone said Santa doesn't exist?

[Smirk.] More just making sure that he exists... tonight anyway.

[Tsume had his knees tucked up around his chest, his arms curled over them. His mind was elsewhere. He barely noticed the figure on the solar surfer until it landed near him.]

[He didn't recognize the voice, but he had a feeling he wasn't in trouble. Pretty sure security wouldn't compliment him on his board.]

[He turns his head just enough to look at Jim, head tilted curiously.]

How does it work?

[He starts to land it. Much like any teenage boy would, he passively shrugs.]

Runs on water. Got an electric starter to it that gets the engine going. It heats the water up, and the steam and heat make it run. Gets enough pressure built up that it can get me off the ground.

[He tries to fight off a smile, but the fact he made it and it works is something he's rather proud of.]

[ why was he on the roof? he didn't know. the roof in general was a place that brought back many bad memories.

[He kept getting lost in his brain as he flew about on his board. After slowing down and almost drifting towards the roof, he looked up again to find specific constellations. (He wasn't the best at it, but he could at least find Orion and both Ursas) When he looked back down to make sure he knew where we was going, he almost jumped, thinking he was about to bump into someone.]

Woah! Sorry!

[He veered away with ease, and kept the board in a hovering state as he turned to face the person.]
