HELLIONS DANCE PARTY a_whiter_shade October 6 2010, 22:41:01 UTC
[Emma's mentor group has hired a DJ with dancers, such as you might find at a bar mitzvah or school dance. this DJ is blasting tunez which can be heard throughout the festival area, but not so loud as to drown y'all out unless it would be funny or something. fabulous prizes are to be won for the best and most enthusiastic dancers, and Emma will probably have to dance up on stage at some point, so keep an eye out]

[This booth is set on the far side of the campus, furthest it could be from Hellions Dance Party. Hopefully people can still hear the booth. If not, oh well. Take it up with them. Reki's has enough to worry about without angering one of the resident uber telepaths.]

[The game is Musical Whack-a-Mole. Choose a song and try to hit as many moles as you can. They pop up to a beat of the song. Small prizes and candy are given out for high scores.]

[There is also the option to put pictures on the moles for extra motivation such as: spiders, peppers, ladders, homework, Baelheit, Stryker, Magneto... whatever students and staff want~ (Except people attending/working at the Institute. Policy issues and all. Do it when Reki is elsewhere and leave no evidence of having done so. /whistles~)]

Um, can I try?

Sure. Just pick a song and if you want to add something to the moles.

[Songs are all "school safe" and there are scrap pieces of paper nearby for drawing, writing, whatever that extra hitting motivation.]

Ah, okay!

[Hmm, what to do...? In the end, Fletcher's indecisiveness gets the best of him, and he doesn't put anything extra on the moles. He picks a random, generic pop song and... begins with the thwacking!

Rather poorly, it should be added.]

TEAM SHEPPARD fairerthandeath October 7 2010, 00:55:52 UTC
[ Team Sheppard, after... little debate, to be honest, and mostly over compensating enthusiasm from John himself -- has set up a little game booth. Manned by Sadface Derrick, Mostly Uninterested Tommy and Slightly Sugar high Paulie along with their mentor it's... pretty much a little carnival-style game. Come grab a pingpong ball and see if you can get it into a bowl to win a goldfish, or one of the other little prizes along the back shelf! ]

[Eyes the pingpong balls.] Do I have to use one of these, or can I provide my own?

[ Raised eyebrowwwwwwwwww ]

Generally people are meant to use the ones provided. It's a fairness thing.
