[She sits a short distance away and watches. Or stares, but she could simply be waiting for something interesting to happen.]

[She could feel the eyes watching her, It didn't feel like someone she knew though. Keeping her eyes closed, she called back to the other.]

Are you just going to sit there?

If you aren't going to do anything but float there, then maybe.

[Oh hey, this guy is suddenly here. Behind Temari, legs and arms crossed, but conflicting this serious manner with a grin.]

[Falling the the ground with a soft squeal It wasn't girly. Shut up., she sends a glare up at the boy.]

You...what was that for?!

[Her tone could have frozen hell]

[Standing quickly, she was only on her feet for a moment before kneeling back down. She'd never admit it, but it seemed she fell a little wrong on her ankle. She could tell it was nothing worse than a slight hurt that would right itself in a few hours, as long as she didn't try to do anything anyway.

Flopping back on the blanket, she pulled a sandwich from her basket.]

[It wasn't that Duo had initially planned on startling Temari, but there were so few chances where he could really say he had the edge on his girlfriend so he took advantage of them when he could.]

[He leaned in over her shoulder, blue-violet eyes glittering with amusement.]

Don't fall, I'm not sure how well I'd be able to catch you.

[He'd actually gone looking for her since they hadn't really had a chance to talk since that rather... spectacular mess when they'd all been together. Still, it was probably best to let business go on as normal so she'd realize that thing weren't going to change just because he had someone else to spend time with now too.]

[Catching herself about an inch from hitting the ground, she sent a mock glare back at the dark haired boy.]

That was completely uncalled for.

[Waka had succeeded in making her fall earlier, she wouldn't let someone else get that kind of advantage over her.]

What are you doing out here anyway?

[She almost asked if he really would catch her...but she held her tongue. Turning away from him to stare back over the lake.]

I figured you'd be catching up with certain individuals.

[There may or may not have been a little venom in her tone.

If he could still justify being an ass to Trowa, she had full rights to behave the same towards Hiiro.]

[He smiled at her glare knowing that she didn't really mean it.]

[Internally he sighed, this was entirely too predictable sometimes.]

Plenty of time to catch up with him later, right now I want to spend time with you. That a crime now? Can a guy get arrested for wanting to spend time with his girlfriend?

[There was a big difference, he didn't purposefully try to use Hiiro to make her jealous like she tended to do with Trowa.]

[Turning her head, she stared him in the eyes.]

Not if that's what he's here for...You probably just smelled that I have food though.

[Like he hadn't notice how Hiiro purposefully made her jealous. She worked with what she could.]

[He peered out from one of the doors to see where his appointed big sister was. According to the small furry guest he carried under his hat, she was by the lake to meditate. Hopefully she wouldn't mind a visit? Once he saw the figure levitating, he knew exactly who it was, and trotted up at first, then walked up quietly so as not to interrupt her concentration.]

[Hearing someone walk up, she tilted her head back to see who it was.]

Chopper?

[Lowering herself more to his level, she urged him forward.]

[Seems like she always knows when it's him; It always surprises him though!]

How'd you know it was me?

Kamatari told me you were meditating by the lake, so I thought I'd see you!

[As if on cue the small white ferret peaks out from underneath the little reindeer's hat, as he whispers to her.]

Did you see the squid at all?

There aren't many students here with hooves~.

I figured it was either her or you just lucked out in finding me.

[Grinning at the small creature, she turns back to look at the lake.]

Not yet...I've only glimpsed it once.
