Truthfully Robin had just been walking by, but she had heard the music even from a short distance. That had made her stop, and she looked back to where Yousuke was, playing with the wind. She wondered for a moment if she should interrupt him or just leave him be. But she didn't have anything else to do this afternoon, so she turned and walked over to where Yosuke was.
She figured that he wouldn't be able to hear her, though, so she tried to get his attention another way. In this case, she leaned over a little and waved a hand in front of his face. Hopefully she didn't surprise him too much.
It works! Unfortunately, it may not have got the reaction she wanted, as Yousuke snapped out of his trance with a shout of surprise and fell backwards to the ground.
That shout caught Robin off-guard, so she stepped back a step as she shouted out in surprise too. But as soon as she saw that she had spooked him enough to fall over she suddenly looked apologetic, and she said, "I'm sorry! I didn't mean to scare you."
"H-hey, don't worry about it, no harm done," he said, trying to sound reassuring, as he climbed back up to his feet. Okay, he might ache a bit, but no reason to make her freak out anymore. "I guess I just got a little too into it there, huh?"
Ammy was wandering around campus, a wolf as she always was when she could get away with it, thick fur keeping the cold at bay. She heard Yosuke a bit before she saw him--specifically, she heard his music, which was blasting loudly enough for her ears to pick it up before she turned the corner, and then she saw the little game he was playing, keeping a leaf floating with what Ammy could only assume was some sort of mutant power.
She wanted to play, too. So she invited herself in, leaping and snapping at the leaf as it blew up again.
It's pretty easy to imagine what a sheltered city boy will think when a wolf jumps up in front of him and snaps the leaf he's been juggling out of the air: Yousuke let out a yell on the verge of a shriek and took several rapid steps backward.
"OhmyGOD! N-nice puppy, taaake it easy," he said, rapidly, and began slowly retreating. Where would a wolf even come from? The woods around here? Did they have wolves here? Was it someone's pet? He guessed it didn't matter, so long as he wasn't lunch.
Ammy blinked, tilting her head to one side and making a little confused noise. She hadn't been doing anything wrong, had she? She sat on her haunches before the older boy and watched him, waiting to see if he would calm down.
Huh. Maybe it was a pet. Yousuke wasn't an expert on wolves, but he didn't think they tended to sit down and look, well, cute. And most wolves didn't have odd red markings on their face, either.

Or, this could be a wolfish trap, he thought.
"Um... roll over?"
