Peter, a little over half a head taller than most of the boys his age, couldn't help but be spotted over the tops of his peer's when he instinctively turned his head at the sound of his name. They had called him by his surname at the orphanage, the adults, anyway, and Hook and the Pirates on those really good days when swords were flying and slashing all over the deck of a bloody great ship as it rounded the isles of the Neverlands. His face fell when he realized that he was making eye contact with the despised Enjolras. He made a face, wondered if he could get away with pretending he hadn't heard his name, and then realized that he couldn't.

"Yes, Mister Enjolras." He said with a slight pout to his lips as he entered the office. He'd been called into enough of these enough times to know how this would go, nearly word for word; you've got to straighten up, Pan, put all that energy to good use, do something productive with your time, stop living in a fantasy world. The very second that his rear hit the seat, he immediately wanted to rise to his feet once more. He was not particularly good at sitting still for any length of time - unless he was playing hide and seek, of course, in which case he was the very, very best. "I had to go to classes plus 'sessions' where they wanted to find out if I was adjusting." His upper lip curled in a way that turned his beautiful boyish face a bit ugly, at least for a moment, and then he was smiling again, as if he had not a single care in the world. "Except I was always at Kensington, so there was nothing to adjust to, was there?" He shrugged. "So I fixed it."

"You fixed it?" Enjolras echoed, taking his hands from behind his head and sitting upright in his seat. He gripped the arms of his chair and gave Peter a keen sideways look. "By creating this, this 'Neverlands' place, correct?" Yes, Enjolras had read the boy's (quite sizeable) files but he preferred to hear it from Peter himself.
