Of course! My, this is so exciting. Do you think the monster has any super special attacks?

Maybe! [ HMMM. ] As long as we're prepared, we'll be okay. We do have our own special attacks...

A young man, with spiky black hair and a long white coat, wanders through the equipment and people scrambling to prepare. He stops by the woman with a clipboard and eyes a stack of crates curiously. He then glances to her and peers at what she's writing.

"...you're really serious about this giant under water spider business huh?" His tone is slightly flat, if not a little incredulous, he really wasn't expecting all of this.

She glances up and raises an eyebrow curiously.

"I find it best to be prepared. Bertha is listed among the most dangerous mutants on the planet. She's capable of generating powerful earthquakes."

"Bertha?" He mirrors that quirk of a brow before his dark eyes shift to the helicopters.

One of the most dangerous mutants huh? For a brief moment his mind flashed to Deliora, wiping out towns like they were giant Lego sets. If this mutant was allowed to continue roaming the sea, with an ability like that? There's no telling what sort of destruction would follow it.

"Alright, so, remind me again what you want done with this thing?" Considering the aid he'd received from Sanctuary upon arrival, he felt he owed them this much. It sounded like a good test of his abilities too. He just hoped Professor Xavier wouldn't mind that he was going to be a few days off schedule.

She glances across and frowns. "The best course of action is keeping her secure and under watch. Killing her could pose a far greater threat than keeping her alive. I've been designing a containment field to secure her at the bottom of he ocean."

[ She doesn't like to think of this situation as practice, but to a certain extent that's what it is. Nothing better than throwing yourself straight in. Maybe. She knows that she has to start finding her own feet with this whole Rescue business rather than tagging along after Iron Man all the time. In any case, if she needs a hand, she still has Jarvis - it'll be fine, she tells herself. Since getting the suit she has gotten much much better at moving around on the ground in the suit - it's still kind of weird and unnatural feeling, but at least she's pretty much got the hang of flying?

The suit lands quite gently and quietly near the crates and lady with a clipboard. ]

So we're going after an underwater spider, not invading a country, right?

[ She looks up -- and raises an eyebrow curiously. ]

I believe in being prepared, especially when going after a creature as powerful as Big Bertha.

Well, I can't argue with that logic and I'm definitely not complaining.

Well, I'm glad to hear it.

[ Tips the clipboard towards her chest and eyes you curiously. ]

I'm assuming from the somewhat extravagant outfit that you're here to help with our little venture...?
