Derrick stood outside the cafeteria, hands deep in his coat pockets to protect them from the cold. He kept an eye out for a girl with blond with a wooden sword while trying, futilely to ignore the Music. The Music was weird. He had a hard time describing it in another way. And it was making him feel sick.
Hopefully, they'd be able to find something. And hopefully, Derrick could keep the dizziness he still felt occasionally away. The last thing he wanted to do was worry J or Morrison. He was supposed to be resting, but he could take a short walk to see if any place in the school sounded better or worse, right?
While he waited, Derrick tapped a foot to give him a solid, unwarped beat and gripped his MP3 in his pocket.
