Did somebody say DISASTERPIECE? hose_nose June 27 2010, 17:52:28 UTC
Having been sat under the cover of a not-very-lofty-at-all tree, but which seemed adequately grand to him non the less, Gonzo was spared the title of airplane-target for the moment, but instead watched with eyes gleaming with awe and amazement as the paper construction sailed neatly into the back of the unlucky victim's head with pin-point precision.

Immediately deciding that whoever was responsible for this was definitely somebody awesome, and therefore somebody entirely worth meeting, the blue furry creature abandoned the book he'd been reading to scuttle as fast as his miniature spats could carry him to the rooftop.

It took considerably longer than he'd thought it might, so it was a rather out of breath but no less enthralled Gonzo flopped out of the door onto the roof behind the red-haired teacher. He was gasping too much to fully explain himself and who he was, but he was sure that was secondary to the importance of intermittently explaining;

"That... was so... COOL!"

"What the bloody...?!"

Turning around at the sound of the door crashing open, Moddy's face was already snarling in frustration at some goody two-shoes having blown the gaff already, but it abruptly changed to still-disgruntled confusion at the revelation of exactly what had just tumbled out onto the roof.

Lowering the aeroplane that he had automatically readied to assail the invader with, the... thing's words puzzled and flattered him sufficiently for him to crack a meandering-ly toothed smile at the visitor.

"Well, you've got to find entertainment somehow in a place like this."

Having had to bend over double to recover his breath, Gonzo nodded fervently as his ability to speak came back to him.

"Oh! I quite agree!" Trotting over to the lanky man with the shock of red hair, the strange pupil started investigating the collection of paper aeroplanes with almost reverent fascination.

"Wow... Did you make these, mister?!"

Watching the... whatever it was, poking its hooked nose amongst the aeroplanes still sitting in the suitcase that he'd ordered to walk up the stairs with him (well, why waste the energy when you could make it do the work for you?), Mod leaned against the small edging wall with a high-arched brow.

"Certainly did, laddy. You're interested in this sort of thing, I take it?"

Meh, why not? ^^ hanahanasunday June 27 2010, 20:49:47 UTC
Robin was indeed enjoying a pleasant and unsuspecting stoll when she was suddenly and unexpectedly darted in the head with a paper airplane. Or, well, it wasn't completely unexpected; she had noticed the man perched on the roof awhile back and had had a feeling she would soon be subjected to those paper airplanes he had. She probably could have avoided it, but it might be more fun to let the thing hit her.

And it did.

The history teacher caught it as it tumbled from her head toward the pavement, giving it a quick examination. Remote-controlled? She smiled in wry amusement. Someone was certainly going all-out.

She looked back up toward the roof and a tower of hands sprouted in front of him, the top hand stopping just at eyelevel and wagging a finger at him.

She sprouted another string of hands to whip the airplane back at him, then started walking across the lawn toward the building.

Mod's grin of triumph was replaced by an expression of surprise far sooner than he could have ever expected, as he suddenly found himself being reprimanded by the most bizarre arrangment of limbs he had never seen. From the holographic man it might have seemed a trifle ironic, but he had to be excused for wondering just what on earth he was dealing with here, until he saw the lady who had just been subjected to the paper airplane walking towards the building.

Smiling in a slightly impressed way, it took a simple direction from the device in his hand to cause the returning plane to do a neat 180, not to smack into the dark-haired woman once more (although it was tempting), but instead to stay hovering next to her shoulder.

"Interesting little display, that." Apparently nano-speaker technology was another thing the buck-toothed teacher was practiced in.

Robin caught, just vaguely, the look of surprise, and she grinned lightly in triumph. She enjoyed having that effect on people every now and then.

She watched the plane turn in the air, preparing to stop it should it assualt her again, but instead it simply hovered next to her.

Her smiled widened. "An interesting attack deserves an interesting response," she replied, coming to the wall below the roof. She closed her eyes.

Above her, the palm of the hand in front of his face opened, revealing bright blue eyes there. One of them winked at him, and then the entire arrangement disappeared in a shower of sakura petals.

A rope of hands sprouted from the rain gutter and swayed down to her. She gripped it and let it begin to pull her up.

Now a little more prepared for this particular brand of the unexpected, Mod grinned in a delighted but mischievous way at the winking hands before they disappeared. Hearing something creaking and metallic, he leaned over the edge of the roof in curiosity to see yet another impossible thing.

This was definitely someone he was interested in.

A small movement of his hand on the pommel stone of his walking stick and the red-haired Brit was once more as tangible as a cloud, floating out over the rim of the roof to swoop down to where the young lady was climbing up the side of the building on the rope of arms. He followed her in a lying down position, arms crossed underneath his chin in a cheerful way.

"Now, what do we have here?"
