A cold, steel-blue sky smeared with the occasional titanium white of a high-flung cirrus cloud stretched out to the tree-fringed horizon, the faintest tinge of frost to the air as Moddy inhaled a virtual lungful with a refreshed, virtual expression of contented anticipation.
"Aah... what a splendid day."
He flexed the wings of one of the very many paper aeroplanes he had escorted to the lofty view from the main building's rooftop.
"Excellent flying conditions."
Taking up a good vantage point, the malevolent teacher scanned the grounds for a promising target, spotting a likely candidate taking a no-doubt very pleasant and unsuspecting stroll on the gravelled path below. Launching the light aircraft, paper interlaced with invisibly thin wiring to ensure an accurate (and repeatable) flight, Mod chuckled as the triangular dart homed in on the unfortunate target with swift and vindictive ease.
Well, one had to have a hobby of some sort.
