HOW DID I MISS THIS art_in_chaos May 26 2010, 15:34:16 UTC
Angela was so happy to be out of the school again. And with the worst of the snow being over with, she decided to take her sketchpad outside. Only when she got there it seemed someone was already there doing the same thing. "Great minds." She said with a friendly smile, indicating her own drawing pad.

"It really is." She grinned. Oh yeah, Angela ran into Courfeyrac and then some. But that was clearly irrelevant.

"Well, it was never just getting up and going. I would work for months and save up and then just on a whim, go." She gave another smile and a small shrug. "Oh, he's a musician. His band was pretty famous."

"Sounds about the same for me, then." Although it was less of a whim and more of a "what country can I help out most in?"

Feuilly glanced down at his sketchbook, absently drawing now. There was nothing too specific about the sketches that took shape, and he shot her a quizzical look. "Sounds like your family has an artistic streak."

Angela wasn't one to talk about her father. It usually made her awfully uncomfortable, but considering she didn't even know his name, it wasn't that bad. "Yeah, I guess. Though he's certainly made more money off of his art than I have off of mine. Not that I am complaining at all. Just stating." Ange said, with a small smile. "So what got you into art, Mr. Mural Artiste?"

He looked up from his book again, a smile flickering across his face. "The money doesn't matter if you're doing something you love."

"A bit of practicality that was helped along by the fact that I just always like to draw." He slipped his pencil behind his ear and held out his hand, looking a bit embarrassed. "Sorry about that, by the way. I'm Nicolás Feuilly."

"I completely agree." Angela said, grinning back at him when he looked up. She'd taken to forgetting about her own sketch.

Ange shook his hand. "No need to apologize. I'm Angela Montenegro."
