All right, so, the reason his stuff was gone was because he'd been transfered to a new room. This didn't really bother him, not really, but he wished he'd had a bit more warning than seeing a notice on his door and all his things being moved. He'd gone out to town for most of the day, seeing as there was nothing better to do on break, and he hadn't wanted to go back to Iowa (seeing as there was such a cold welcome there, he'd rather not freeze his butt of thank you).
He meandered through the halls to the new room, sort of excited to meet his new roommate. He popped the door open and waltzed in, only to grind to a halt.
"Hell. No," he pointed at Spock like he was the devil come to claim his soul.
Spock heard the door being opened and looked up from whatever engineering he was doing. It would be rude to ignore his new roommate after all. And then the door opened, and it was Kirk.
"Why are you in my roo--" And then the logical explanation popped into his head. "Oh. You are my new roommate?"
Yes. That had to be it. With his emotional outburst like that.
"I think God hates me," Kirk growled, glaring at the piece of paper in his hand with the room number 'B12' in bold letters on it. Damn it!
That glare turned on Spock like this was somehow his fault, but he sucked it down and closed the door, continuing into the room and over to his bed, carefully examining his boxes of stuff and his clothing. Needless to say he was much messier at the whole process than the entirety of Spock's side of the room, but it made him feel better - plus he didn't trust the Vulcan.
"Interesting." He said to sum up the situation. There wasn't anything he can do. And while he was not happy about this, as long as they did not end up exploding the room, then he would be content.
He turned back to his work, only to look up again when Kirk was looking over his things. "I have not touched them if that is what you are worried about. I have more respect for people's belongings. And even if I had known they were yours, I would not want to touch them if someone paid me."
