Wufei was appropriately silent when he walked into the library, his own pile of books carried in his arms. He set them down on the table with a polite nod to his fellow student.

"Are we the first ones?" he asked softly, sitting down. He didn't know if anyone else had come and slipped into the stacks to find more resources.

Tris shrugged, pulling her math textbook out of the stack. "The only ones, so far. I don't know if anyone else even knows we're a club. Or that we're meeting now." She paused, flipping the book open and glancing through her assigned problems. Nothing looked too hard.

Tris looked up at Wufei. "Do you know if anyone else was interested?"

"There was at least one other promising response, but we can start without them," Wufei said with a small shrugging of his shoulders. He pulled out his ESL text and notebook of class notes. "Begin our own work and group up if we find things we're struggling with?"
