It's the best station I could find out here. I'm Bender, by the way. [He holds out his hand to be shaken, realizes there is a joint in it, laughs, puts the joint in the other hand and holds out the original hand again.]
There's the sound of keys for a minute -- then a pause, like someone's been stopped by something. In this case, been caught off guard by the door being unlocked. Then the door opens and John's standing with it half open, testing his key a few times to make sure you haven't busted the lock a little by forcing it before letting it swing closed and glancing round with amusement.
"Nice work. Although this is all a little too cliche for my taste."
"Professional lock pick? You know what they say, with great power comes great responsibility." He pockets his keys and shoves his hands in after them, wincing a little as the smell of weed hits him and raising an eyebrow as he paces out onto the roof. Not that he really cares, everyone smokes weed in school.
It wasn't really that hard for Belle to get to at least one section of the roof since Mr. Prouvaire left the key to the stairs from the Poetry classroom in a place where any of the students could find it. Inspiration could be needed at any time of the day after all, not just during classes. So it wasn't really too surprising that after a bit of time at the greenhouse Belle had started to climb onto different sections of the mansion roof

"Not right now thanks, I never really thought pot and walking around a few stories up were a good combination." She wasn't a big fan of it really, but she was a lot more likely to say yes if both her feet were on something a little more solid.
She did take a seat next to the boy though, looking out over the Institute grounds and beyond. "The view from up here is gorgeous" she wasn't even really making small talk, it was just an honest observation and she wondered if this new boy shared it.
