Water had always been his element. He could breathe in it as automatically as he did on air. He felt stronger and more capable in the water, as opposed to feeling clumsy and awkward on land. So joining the sailing club was a given for him - if and when he got over his surprise that there was a sailing club here. Even Yancy Academy, with its hoity-toity student body, hadn't had a sailing club. Or if it had, he sure wouldn't have been invited to join.

Percy makes his way down to the dock with his hands in his pockets, and he stops at the sight of the ship.

Luffy has been perched on the end of the dock for a good thirty minutes before the lesson's designated starting time, watching the sails billowing and the hull creaking too and fro on the placid water, with enthusiasm glittering equally from his eyes and the beaming grin that seemed to reach far too far around his head.

Looking up at the new-comer he nodded in agreement at the summary of the ship; "Cool, isn't it? I heard Mr Franky helped to make it! I bet it can do all kinds of really cool stuff..."
