He watches the plane make another swoop over the melting snow. Technically, he didn't exactly need the controller for this -- but force of habit made him use it. Besides, it somehow wasn't as satisfying if he just... did it with his mind. That, and a little uncomfortable here where people could see him. It shouldn't be a problem, he knows that -- he gets it. Xavier institute, mutant refuge. Make yourself at home. One big happy family. And he's been trying. Trying to fit in, forget about the Air Force. He's probably tried too hard, his schedule is packed -- he still hasn't caught up on all the files he was given on the history of this place, and apparently he's volunteered to be some kinda emergency crisis pilot and should be training in case they're attacked. He sends the plane into another vicious swoop. Take it easy, John. No need to kick your own ass. There are plenty of people to do that for you. Besides, it's not like he has a choice here. Professor Xavier is doing him a favor. He just... needs a little while.
