Jehan was far more used to snow than Courfeyrac, but the changing of the seasons always made him even more excited about nature than usual, and he was planning his next lesson around the snowfall when he got Courfeyrac's text.

Five minutes later he was kicking through the snow towards his friend, his cold-reddened nose poking out from over the hideous scarf which was wrapped several times around his shoulders.

"Courfeyrac! I had no idea you were so talented in snow sculpture!"

"I'm not really," Courfeyrac admitted, with a rueful grin at his lop-sided barricade. He pushed his hat up to scratch his hairline, and to try to smooth down the hat hair he knew was probably there already. "I know simply shapes- that's about it. And the simplest shape of all...."

Courfeyrac ducked behind the barricade and seized a snowball and then very kindly flung it at Jehan, so that Jehan could examine his handiwork more easily.

"Well, I'm impresse--" His next words were cut off as the snowball smacked him square in the face, and he stumbled back a few paces, spluttering and attempting to snort the snow out of his nostrils.

Finally succeeding, he gave Courfeyrac a severe look over the top of his scarf, bending to scoop a handful of snow without taking his eyes off of his friend.

"That was a dirty trick, sir!" He shouted, packing the snow into a sphere meaningfully.

Courfeyrac burst out laughing. "Oh, was it? I was simply trying to give you a closer look at my artistic genius, Jehan."

Oooh, but Jehan was having one of his suddenly manly moments! Courfeyrac dropped to his knees behind the snow barricade and grabbed another snowball. "Want another example?"

Angela had always loved snow. Being half Filipino, she was astonished by it. So that morning when she awoke to the white bliss of winter, she decidedly and swiftly put on some snow pants and boots.

Making her way outside, she fell down on purpose and made a snow angel. She laid there for sometime before she heard someone familiar not far away. Sitting up, Ange smiled and called to Courfeyrac. "Hey!"

Pffft, probably a good choice le_centre March 14 2010, 02:15:04 UTC
Courfeyrac poked his (tousled, thanks to Jehan) head out from behind the barricade. "Oh, hey Angela!" He beamed at her and flung an arm out to indicate the snow-covered grounds. "It is amazing out, is it not?"

Bolting towards the barricade, Angela grinned and knocked into Courfeyrac. "It is magnificent." She looked around. "What are you doing?"

Courfeyrac shook his snow-dampened hair out of his eyes. "What am I doing? Throwing snowballs at my friends mostly."

And speaking of, Courfeyrac picked up a snowball and tossed it lightly at Angela.

The fact that there was a snow wall being built outside immediately caught Belle's attention as she walked between buildings. The snowballs being lobbed up at office windows certainly weren't hurting either. She had just mentioned that she was wanting a snowball fight and it seemed like an unseen someone was having the same idea. She'd always loved the snow at home, snowball fights and snow forts and ice skating every day after school until the last pile had melted.

She scooped up a handful of snow stealthily, looking around to see if she could spot who was making the snow wall (even though a part of her was thinking it looked decidedly more barricade-esque.) After being unable to spot precisely who the builder was she called out "Heeelllooooo?" to anyone nearby, holding the snowball at the ready for whichever unfortunate head made an appearance.

Al had gone outside to enjoy the snow, looking like Christmas had come early. Being from Alabama, he hadn't seen much snow in his life and he wasn't going to miss out.

He wasn't going to just sit in his wheelchair either while watching other people play in the snow. Al maneuvered himself into the snow as much as he could, then got himself into a sitting position on the ground, making snowballs with his hands and grinning as he set them in a little pile to his side. He couldn't run away but he sure could throw them.

Al heard someone call out from nearby and called back to them, looking around to see where the voice was coming from. "Hello!"

Of course it is! bookloverbeauty March 14 2010, 19:11:37 UTC
Well that was odd, she could hear the voice, but she had no idea exactly where it was coming from and so she crept closer to the barricade, snowball in hand and a few more in her arms for reloading purposes. "Hello?" she called out again, trying to figure out where the mystery person was and keeping a careful eye out for any incoming snowballs.

Al let out a laugh, waving a hand in the air. "I'm over here!" Getting an idea, he grasped a snowball and tossed it straight up into the air, using it as a sort of makeshift flare. It landed with a splat on his wheelchair.

Kid was far too dignified for this common display of idiocy, obviously; he was simply retaliating against what was obviously an assault against his dignity ( ... )

Tina, the culprit of this particular crime, had let out a shriek of laughter as the snowball hit Kid's face. Completely unfamiliar with such notions as remorse or guilt she had doubled over in mid-air, clutching her sides, as she laughed uproariously. Wiping the tears from her eyes she looked back around to realise that Kid had disappeared into the snowy wilderness of the grounds.

She frowned, suddenly feeling rather vulnerable hovering in mid-air. Where had he gone? Glowing, flying teenagers made good targets, or so she feared. Tina darted to the ground, zooming low to scoop up a handful of snow in her gloved hands and packing it into a pre-emptive snowball as she flew furtively along the ground.

Kid followed the sound of the laughter, but it cut short as it disappeared behind a pair of elm trees. He leaned a shoulder against the bark of the leftmost one (it being the far more tidy and straight-trunked of the two), like any self respecting merchant of snowball-induced vegeance ought to, scanning the areas suspiciously with his ammunition at the ready.

Spotting something bright that was surely something more than just a sunbeam gleaming on the snow, he managed to catch a glimpse of a girl flying low over the ground disappearing behind the cover of a slight rise in the earth. Retreating behind the cover of the tree he considered how best to approach what he could only assume was the culprit of this heinous deed.
