Studying seemed to bring out the need for late-night snacking in many students, and Kitty was no exception to this. The kitchen was normally quiet once curfews started to kick in, and there was no better time to sneak through a couple of walls to get to the fridge than this.

Of course, nothing ever went quite as expected, and as Kitty phased through the wall she found herself looking straight at a distraught-looking Holly J. She seemed to be deep in thought, and Kitty really was only here for a snack before she went back to studying...

Well, snack or not, she couldn't just leave someone looking sad, right?

"The strawberry might be a better choice."

Holly J shot up a little at the sound of another voice. Kitty, she was okay, not one of Holly J's usual friends but she wasn't an idiot like some of the school. Of course, that did mean Holly J must be strong here, almost reflexively she spat out, "Yeah, if I want giant thighs or something, what do you know," and moved to put the ice cream away.

She quickly tried to settle herself into her usual way, strong, pushy, in command. She liked being in charge of herself and anything she could, she liked to keep control of all things. Letting people see your weakness was terrible, the slightest opening and people assume you're some worthless whiny child.

However, her attempts at self control and maintaining her image were not as effective as earlier in the day. She was tired, she wished she could just sleep right now. She was probably going to make another enemy, she was good at that. Pushing everyone away one after another, it did mean less people to see her weakness, but it was lonely.

Kitty was use to the personalities of a good portion of the students by now, and Holly J's attitude wasn't about to stop her from helping out if she could. "As long as you don't eat too much of it, you should be fine," she promised.

After pulling a bag of cheese pizza bites from the freezer, Kitty put some on a tray and set them in the oven to cook. The few moments it took to do so would hopefully give Holly J whatever time she needed to regain her composure, but she still looked like a kicked puppy when Kitty looked back.

"Take it you won't want any pizza bites, either, then?"
