Having spent time trying to read student files on her phone, Lara's a little annoyed by the time she made it to Tony's office, laptop in hand. She can hear tinkering going on inside, but knocks on the door anyway, just to be polite.

Tony calls without even looking up, since trying to stand and make his way through the chaos would be more trouble than it's worth. Besides, the camera has already identified her and started feeding data about the laptop into another part of his mind not preoccupied with the tiny component he's frowning at.

"Come in."

Opening the door carefully, Lara's taken aback by the sheer number of laptops on the floor. She blinked in surprise then gave the man sitting in the middle of the electronic sea of chaos an amused smile. "Should I come back later and give you and your friends some alone time?" she asked, in her usual lazy sensual sort of drawl.

A lot of the student body have already dropped by, but most of them just need basic maintenance. He's also fixing other problems they have, because the viruses are making his head hurt.

"They're not the jealous type," Tony grins at her, the harmlessly charming smile he defaults to whilst at the Institute, and sits up slightly to lean over for her laptop. If he didn't have about a hundred computers in his head he would draw out the conversation, but there'll be other times for that. "You're one of our new counsellors?"

[Tina marches into the room, bottom lip in full-wobble mode. She looks generally dishevelled and incredibly unhappy at having to march through the school with her post-shower wet hair done up in an elabourate turban. She waves a broken hair-dryer around in the air and wails dismally:]

Mr. Staaaark! I need your heeeeelp...

[Yeah she's also still in her dressing gown and isn't wearing any shoes.]

It's REALLY important!

[Tina you are getting the machine wet. New priority status: High]

Hand it over, Bell.

[Feeling very sorry for herself Tina obediently hands it to Tony. She's completely ignorant of the little pool of water on the floor that she seems to have created.]

Will it be okay?

[She gives a little worried sniff. Woe is Tina.]

[makes a show of examining it, to give the diagnostics a chance to start up]

I think it'll pull through. Go back to your dorm, give me a few minutes and I'll send it along with Drake here. [indicates Tim, partly hidden by laptops on the other side of the desk]

*knocks politely and pokes his head in, a laptop and iPhone in his arms*

Mr. Stark? I hope I'm not interrupting anything.

Nothing that can't wait, come in. [if you can. There are several patches of clear floor around that you can hop to]

Thank you.

[somehow manages to get closer without stepping on anything important. Yay for parent mandated ballroom dance lessons.]

Where should I put these?

[ you are his new favourite person for not tripping over anything ]

There should be a space on the chair over there. [ gestures to one of the many chairs he's brought in from other offices, which sure enough is without a laptop ]

[ she doesn't knock, she just wanders right in, still talking on her phone for a moment before clicking it off and still fiddling with it intently for a moment, literally not even paying attention to tony at first. which is normal and fine and not out of the ordinary in the least. ]

Mind the pile of iPhones next to your left foot, they're the easy ones.

[ glances down to them, arching her brows a moment before looking back up at tony. ]

Teenagers are so predictable nowadays. [ she seems quite amused, and then continues after a moment. ] You know that it's occasionally a good idea to check in every so often. [ her phone vibrates in her hand and she turns her attention to it again, but goes on. ] I've hardly seen you since the field-trip.

Makes them faster to fix, anyway.

- That long, really? [ actually looks up, wonder of wonders. ]

Hand me the screwdriver - the one in the plant pot? [ or maybe not. No, he doesn't know why there are tools in the office greenery either. they probably got knocked off a stack. ]

[Bumblebee comes into the room!]

Yo, Mr. Stark. [He has his phone and laptop in hand. But he doesn't mind if he has to wait in line to get them fixed] Anything I can do to help?

[looks up from the machine again. The number of laptops in the room has gone down a little, but there's a cluster of them on a desk (stolen from an adjacent office in the name of justice) off to one side. Tony indicates these with a wave of his screwdriver] Know how to replace monitors?

[Nods his head] Yep! It isn't too hard. [Learned how from his old Electrical Trades teacher]
