[Having looked in all the usual places, Matt was calling in a last resort and going to Tamaki. If anyone else would know where Kaoru was, it would be Tamaki]

So you want to date both of us? And with this polyamory thing, you can? But there are rules and stuff. Lovino hates me he wouldn't agree to that. You love him, you've said it enough times, not me, why bring me into this...

Because...I like you Kaoru. And if I can have both of you, I want to. [looks at him quietly]

Why are you going through all the trouble? Lovino's never going to agree and he won't like that you even suggested it.

[looks at him silently]

[shakes head a little and murmurs] I want to. And you never know...It can't hurt to bring it up. I mean...I like you both. A lot. I just want...not to have to push one set of my feelings away.

If you can get him to agree... then sure, we can try it.

[leans over and kisses his cheek]

How do you plan on getting him to agree?

[looks around room curiously. ohwait someone else's room. gah]

I don't really know. Talk to him. See what he does...if he'll talk to me [may not be his bed, but flops back anyhow, covering his eyes with a sigh] He'll just ignore me. Maybe tomato soup can help...and his present...After all, if he says no, it's not like I'd get to give it to him for Christmas anyways...

[looks over at him]

You already have a Christmas present for him?

...Sounds like you plan on bribing him into this relationship.

[looks away]

I'm sure he wants to talk to you, if he realizes it or not.

[blinks and winces] Okay no present, but I might have to bribe into getting in the room. Besides, tomato soup is important. I gave it to him before.

[bites his lip] I don't want to bribe him...and I don't know...he said he hated me an awful lot...even if he took it back once.

People say things they don't mean when they're upset. You don't just stop loving someone.

[looks over at him] I know...but...

[leans over and ruffles his hair] I'll ask him about this. Even if I get yelled at...well I know I'll get yelled at. [tiny smile]
