Toph wandered in a little after opening. The lighting meant little to her, but since she was out on the town she'd put on her shoes for once. The boots she wore were made of a special material that still allowed her a little "visibility" with her earth sight. It was something she had perfected over the years since a lot of places used wood or carpeting and that always muffled her "special" senses.

She stood still just inside the door way for a moment, trying to get a feel from the place by the sound of the music and other nuances of the place.

Toph made her way to the bar and hopped up on the stool. "Evenin' barkeep," she said with a grin.

Jessica had a certain sort of fondness for bars. Part of it might have been that, yeah, Luke owned a bar sort of on the side and...okay, it was mostly that she'd spent a considerable amount of time in them until she'd become pregnant. It wasn't just the getting drunk part, though (although that was fun) -- there was just a nice atmosphere about bars, at least the ones she liked, that was sort of homey and easy to be in.

She'd heard about the new bar opening up in town, the buzz around the staff room. She couldn't drink, but she could sure as hell check it out.

The place was cozy, she decided as she walked in, but kind of empty, thus far. She waved to Toph and seated herself at the bar, waving to the woman behind the counter.

"Hey there."

"You know, I'd say a double vodka on the rocks, but I'm drinking for two." Jessica smiled wryly at Keepsie, patting her stomach lightly. "I know, weird, huh? Pregnant lady coming into a bar. You, uh, got any iced tea or anything?"

"Yeah-- I've got some iced white pomegranate made, or I can make you a green or black tea if you'd prefer."
