[Tim doesn't know Ichigo nearly enough to know not to approach him by only reading his body language. He can tell that he's not feeling exceptional, but not what it entails.

Then again, Tim doesn't believe in 'cheering the lonely kid', being the lonely kid the vast majority of the time himself. So that's not what he has in mind when he decides to walk toward Ichigo after spotting him.]

Hey? [He doesn't sit down, not wanting to give the impression he's imposing himself.] I saw your post. I'm sorry about intruding yesterday.

[Well, strangely enough, Tim's one of the few guys Ichigo wouldn't mind joining him. He'd shown he had decency and was an alright guy.]

Yo. [He waved a hand dismissively.] Nah, don't sweat it. None of you guys in her class had any idea, right?

[chastewing]

[Tim smiles a little, obviously shy and a bit uncomfortable. That's just the way he is with nearly everyone, though, so no worries.]

No. Or at least I didn't. If the others knew they never thought it important to inform me.

[He presses his lips together for a second.] I -- the first one who teleported in must have been... surprising.

[Ichigo just shook his head at that. Kid seemed a little awkward, might as well help him feel a little better.]

That's just how Shihoin is, I guess. She's been trying to mess with me since day one, doing something like this was probably the funniest thing she'd ever thought of.

[And then his expression briefly flashed to terror.] Yeah. Yeah, she was a little surprising. [His cheeks went a little red at the memory, but he didn't feel the need to go into any more detail there, no sir.]

[Plopping down in the seat next to her bro, getting ready to chomp into some chicken katsu]

So, was it the pink heart boxers, or something more conventional?

[Ah, Tatsuki, ever the master of TACT. And where were you ten seconds ago when he was looking for you, huh?]

First, I own more than one pair of underwear. Second, how do you know about those?

Remember last year, when you forgot to lock the door?

...I've been trying to forget that.

[Yamamoto wasn't one of those people who felt the need to cheer others up - well, okay he was. In a big way. But being new, he was halfway just looking for someone to talk to. In ways he hoped if he talked to enough people he'd meet someone with the same power as his own - water control. That and he just wanted some friends. Being a social butterfly of sorts meant that it was near torture to be alone without some sort of sentient company.

It also meant he was naturally out going, and seeing Ichigo sitting alone made him a prime target for Yamamoto's attempts at friend making.]

Mind if I sit down?

[He smiled genuinely at the red head, a small bento in his hand (because his dad and mom insisted he take bentos to school for lunch, not American lunch boxes), packed with sushi he'd made for himself and a fruit salad.]

[Unknown person detected. Possibility of Annoying: Nominal. Going to Grumpcon 1.]

Suit yourself. [He gestured to an empty seat, then raised an eyebrow at the guy's lunch there. Another kid from Japan, huh? They really were popping up all over the place, might as well just make this school bilingual and be done with it.}

[Yamamoto sat and popped the top of the bento, revealing the hand-made sushi with a side of steamed vegetables and... were those chips? Why yes they were. Sun chips to be exact. So he liked to add a bit of American flavor to his lunches, despite his dad's assertions that chips did not go with sushi in the least. Well, what he didn't know wouldn't hurt him.]

I'm Takeshi Yamamoto.

[He held out his hand to Ichigo, still grinning like a kid at Christmas.]

[Sushi, that gets approval. Steamed veggies, sure. Sun Chips? With that meal? This kid was crazy. Or a genius. Ichigo really couldn't quite tell which, having never had those delectable little bits of wheat. He was still pretty uneducated concerning American food.]

Kurosaki Ichigo.

[Seemed like a friendly guy, at least. Ichigo took his hand and gave it a shake.]
