Karrin had a short break for lunch between her classes and had decided to spend it outside. While it was cold, she was from Chicago and was used to this sort of climate. She didn't mind eating outside as long as it wasn't raining or snowing.

She was about to take a spot under a tree when she noticed a student examining a wall. At first she didn't think anything of it...until he stepped up towards it and started climbing. She blinked and sighed, throwing her sandwich back in her bag, crossing the grounds to get closer. "Are you insane?"

Ezio hadn't quite expected anyone to be out and around the grounds at this hour, but he was used to having an audience, so it didn't bother him. He pulled himself up onto a lower portion of the roof and turned to look down at the girl.

"Maybe un poco," he said, flashing her a charming grin. "I have just arrived and I want to get a good look around."

Karrin rolled her eyes, not caring at all for that charming grin. "You know they have stairs inside the building. I'm not getting help if you break your neck." Her face said she was serious, but it was very likely that if he did fall and hurt himself, she would go and get help.

That was assuming he didn't have a power like regeneration or the ability to bounce. Granted, if he had the second one then why wasn't he bouncing up to the top of the tower.

"Don't worry about me, bella," he replied. "I don't fall often, and when I do, I handle it well. And where's the fun in climbing the inside of a building?" His grin became more of a smirk.

Lovino had been outside blowing off some steam, via taking a walk. It was either that or try and through Kaoru into the lake, followed but the rest of the annoying assholes that inhabited this place. Wrapped up tight in a jacket, he scowled. It was too fucking cold here.

Idly, he glanced up, his attention quickly drawn to the boy climbing the tower. What the hell was he doing? Wandering over, the Italian stood at the base of the structure, still watching him.

"What the hell are you doing?"

With his mutation it was nothing to get his voice to the other boy, loud enough so Ezio would hear it, but not overly loud. Just in case. Stupid old buildings.

"What does it look like I'm doing?" Ezio called down, balancing on a higher tier of the roof. It was a bit difficult to tell, but he though he heard a familiar accent in the voice, so it couldn't hurt to try... "Parli italiano, amico?"

"Being stupido?" Lovino called back, sarcasm clear. The Italian got a blink and small hidden smile, before he shouted up. "Sì. Siete Italiani allora?"

"If that's what you'd like to call it," he replied. "I just want to get a good view of the grounds."

Ezio smiled. It was nice to hear his native tongue in this foreign place, especially from a stranger. "Si, si! Di dove sei?" He probably should have descended to hold a conversation, but he was already halfway there.
