Final Part Two post...for now *DUNDUNDUN*
Okay, as you all know, Part Two of Lucy Plot is going up tonight, but before it does, I just want to finish getting things organized. Now then, in order to keep things moving, here's how I've set it up.
Last time, on XI: Thanks to Lucy Diamond's intel (did you know she once arm wrestled the Juggernaut?) a team of students led by (who else?) Al now know that Lucy Heartphilia is being kept in the Syracuse Convention Center (link here, but note the XI version is much bigger, so feel free to add on to it.)which is currently hosting the 4th Wall Comic Book Convention, and now have managed to sneak out whatever vehicles they can find to go get her back. They don't know where exactly in the convention Lucy is being kept, however, so they will have to split into teams to check out all the possible spaces. This means there will be six different missions going on at the same time, each with a maximum of four students participating in them. Teachers will tag into the plots later on, playing the role of Big Damn Heroes.
Our noble and not so noble heroes: Now then, first lets get to the people in the plot. So far I have the following people signed up:
Kids: Levi, Al, Naruto, Santo, Shika, Spin, Fred, Nakuru, Hijikata, Xion, Riku, Pamela, Kuruk, Bee, Kirk, Yamamoto, Yumichika, Ikkaku, Minako, Sakura, Flynn
Teachers: Mia,
Other: Lucy Motherf**ing Diamond
Tech Support: Foxx, Derek.
NPCs: You know who you are. (Please note, I have several more roles that can be filled if you are interested).
As you can see, I currently have more than enough students, but am short on teachers, so if you have a teacher character who would like to track down the rowdy students and save their backsides, please let me know. Also, if you no longer wish to participate, or feel that I have forgotten to include you on this list, please also let me know. I want to make sure everyone's on the same page.
As for Tech Support, their role will be to serve as a combination of Otakon and Uhura (let that image simmer for a bit) providing you with information on where to go, the status of the other teams, and general support/background info/musings on love and battlefields. If you want them to poke into your thread, please put "CALLING TECH SUPPORT" in your Subject line. Also note that Kia is on semi hiatus, so I'll talk to her about semi-Npcing Foxx. Tech support, if you want this changed, let me know, and I'll be sure to E-mail you soon.
Now the Plot, such as it is: Okay, taking a page from GG, I am going to let everyone pick their own teams. Please note, each team will have a villain to fight, and all have cool stuff to do. I honestly would want to play in any of these threads, so don't feel like one is favored over the other. Each team will be limited to 4 students and 1 teacher who will come in later (to avoid things bogging down) as well as the NPC. While I feel tag order is important so as not to let anyone get left behind, if you do feel that you won't be able to post for a while and would rather let others jump ahead, please let your teammates know so things do not get bogged down. Also, every NPC will be given plenty of mooks, so don't think everyone on a team has to just face the boss.
Team 1: Infiltrates the Con: This mission will involve infiltration, subterfuge, and dealing with cosplayers. Good for people who aren't really all that combat heavy, or like zany antics
Team 2: Go in through the roof: You're breaking in through the roof of the convention center. This is a Mission Impossible style thread, great for characters that like stealth missions, high air hijinks, or tight leather.
Team 3: Go in through the sewer: This team will be sneaking into the convention center through the Absurdly Spacious Sewer. Good for those who like close range combat, mild horror elements, and D&D Dungeon crawls.
Team 4: Check out the hotel: This group will be checking out the hotel attached to the convention center. This mission will likely involve intense gunfights, improvised weapons, and a kick ass soundtrack.
Team 5: CAR CHASE: You're on your way to the mission, when those pesky bad guys decide to cut you off in traffic. Great for those who like, well, car chases.
Team 6: Borrowed Uniforms: You've stolen some staff outfits, and are going to the lower staff only levels of the convention. Great for characters who like dressing up, hitting people over the head, and going where they aren't supposed to.
Outside the Con: This will be a special thread for all those staff members who want to join in, but can't get into a Team thread. Keep an eye on this one, it'll be a lot of fun.
Now, there will be an element of competition between the teams, as the Team who gets to a certain point first will be rewarded with the chance to save the Fair Princess Lucy, fight the End Boss, and be given the coveted "Mario Award." Everyone else will get the equally valuable but less coveted "Luigi Award."
