Ladies and gentlemuns, it's time for Weskerplot Part One and a Half: Further Bad Things Happening to Teenagers
Part One Here
Part One Plot Post Here

Please post your questions here so everyone can see the answers. You can also IM me at FullArmoredGG if you need help.

So what's become of your poor, kidnapped students? Where have they been taken and what's happened to them? And will their friends and teachers at Xavier Institute be able to find them in time?

IT'S UP TO US.

KIDNAPPEES:

IN CAPTIVITY:

On board the ship, the students will wake up to find themselves dressed in white hospital gowns with a medical bracelet around their wrists listing their names, abilities, blood types and some strange code. They are in individual prison cells down on the lower decks of the ship. The cells are small white rooms, about seven foot by four foor square, with one medical cot and a toilet. Food and water are dispensed through a trap door in the back wall twice a day. The cell doors are sealed tightly closed and there are no hinges, lock systems or any other obvious ways to open them visible. There is a viewing window in the front of each cell lined with unbreakable glass. Students will see various scientists (and sometimes Wesker) peeking in on them and taking notes throughout the day.

There is also a small vent in the ceiling where there is both an intercom and a ventilation system set-up. Scientists and students will be able to converse with each other through the intercom. The ventilation system dispenses knock-out gas in case students need to be removed for testing. The students will not be able to see each other, but will find out quickly that the trap doors where they receive food are connected by a shaft-- they'll be able to hear each other talking through them and communicate that way. Unfortunately, the doors are far too small for someone to fit through.

Your powers have all been somehow disabled. While the students were unconscious, they were administered a drug that mutes the effects of the X-gene: therefore, once again, your powers do not work. Even if your character has advanced healing or some way to quickly deal with the drug, the scientists have had all this time while they were unconscious to figure out the right dosage. Your powers are gone. You cannot use them. Yet.

* These three cells are obviously occupied, as students will be able to hear people moving about inside of them. However, WHO is inside of them is unknown.

Students in Cell Blocks A and B will find a small mechanical implant about the size of a pink eraser (1.5 inch x 2 inches) has been inserted into their chests, just on top of their collarbones. There are two small tubes coming from the back of the implant and sticking into the students' chests. The implants are plugged in fairly well and it will hurt quite a bit if you attempt to remove them. If you manage to remove your implant, an alarm will sound in the cell and they will be immediately knocked out by gas from the ceiling. When you awaken, the implant will be back in place.

Students in Cell Block C will have been drugged like the other students and their cells look the same, but they do not have any implants (yet.) This is not necessarily a good thing.

ETA: Wesker has announced what the implants are for here.

CONGRATULATIONS! YOU ALL HAVE THE T-VIRUS!

Everybody with an implant has been injected with T-virus. In the Resident Evil series, the T-virus is the most common/prevalent of the several pathogens that turn people and animals into zombies and monsters. The characters who have been injected with the virus have also received implants that are keeping the virus at bay-- but if you mess with the implants, an alarm will sound and you will be knocked out while the scientists come in and replace it. Once the implant has been removed, after 20-30 minutes the virus will become active and begin spreading through the body-- shortly, the victim will start growing sicker and sicker and then become a zombie.

It's therefore probably a good idea to leave your implant on.

And it's gonna be tough to get it off for good...

FURTHER ETA - EXPERIMENTS:

Here's your chance to really ramp up the drama by posting your poor character in the midst of experimentation. Wesker and his people are emotionless monsters, however, they will not sit down and start mutilating a bunch of teenagers for no reason. Since most of them have been given their charming little implants for the most part the scientists are going to wait for the results of that before they start the serious business Geneva Convention-breaking squirming tentacles type of things (and hopefully, the children will be rescued BEFORE that!) The scientists will not do anything to permanently maim or kill the students and will not needlessly torture them-- this is all in the name of SCIENCE after all, and screwing up SCIENCE in Wesker's employ will get you turned into a redshirt faster than you can blink.

Feel free to NPC scientists and guards as needed, or to recruit your fellow muns to NPC people for you. This evening, I will be around to play the man himself if any of you would like a SPECIAL guest overseeing your experiments. If you are not sure exactly what the scientists would be interested in for your character, feel free to ask me and I'll give you some ideas.

Here are some experiments they WILL do to your kids, including but not limited to:

- Taking their vitals
- Running them on treadmills/exercise machines
- X-rays, CAT scans, brain-wave scans, electrocardiograms, other medical-type things
- Mild electrical stimulation (that's a nice way of saying "shocks")
- Taking blood and tissue samples
- Administering a variety of drugs to see their effects
- Carefully restoring a fraction of their powers to see what they can do.
NOTE: This is more likely for students who have non-combat-oriented/passive powers than students who can, say, blow up things with their mind or fold trains in half. This will be done in a secure environment with the same armed goons as before on standby, just in case the kids try anything funny like escape attempts.

- Any ideas? If you're not sure, run it by me and I'll let you know.

Here are some experiments they WILL NOT do to your kids (... yet.):

- Mindlessly torturing them (cutting into them for no reason, vivisection, etc)
- Injecting them with any other viral agents (like Progenitor, Uroboros, G-virus and other misc. ickies.)
- Anything that will kill them

If you are one of the five students in Cell Block C (you already know what this is about,) once you are removed from your cells for experiments, you will not be appearing again for a little while...

VILLAINS:

If you are one of Wesker's special guests aboard the ship, this thread will be where we sit around, drink champagne and gloat in the luxury of the beautiful Olivia. B)

INSTITUTE CHARACTERS:

This is where to thread out all of the reactions to the kidnappings-- students sobbing on each others' shoulders or being eaten alive by guilt, teachers and staff investigating the disappearances or trying to find some way to track the kids. This part of the post is OPEN OPEN OPEN. Incidentally, I told a few people last night but now it's official-- you are cleared to make journal/online entries about the kidnappings now, to your heart's content.

Any attempts to track the students will register somewhere to the southeast of the school, several hundred miles away. A more precise tracking attempt (such as Cerebro) will identify a location off the coast of Manhattan, just into international waters (about 13.8 miles and 22.2 km offshore.) The location is moving, so it will be difficult to pinpoint exactly where it is or predict where it's going next.

Once the staff find out this much information, an unlikely ally (for Marvel, anyway) will appear and offer assistance in any rescue efforts. It's up to the staff/X-Men/rescue party if they will accept this person/entity's help-- many mutants may object to the very idea, and even those who don't may not be uncomfortable cooperating with them. However, they can offer extremely valuable resources that the Institute cannot, so it may be worth the trouble.

After that, it's time to mobilize and head out-- but characters CANNOT reach the ship yet! All of that comes with its own plot post and information in the next part of plot.

What's Next:
I'll shoot for Wednesday, April 14th or Thursday, April 15th for Part Two of plot to go up, depending how quickly we get there and once everyone has had a fair chance to post. Remember that you can still post your kidnappings back in part one if you haven't had a chance to, and you can keep posting in this thread once part two begins as well. You need to sign up on THIS POST if you want one of your characters to participate in the physical, on-the-ship rescue part of Part Two.

As always, if you have any questions or need help deciding what to do or where to be, now's a great time to ask them!

Have fun!
