I have a question about a movie I was watching..

In When Harry Met Sally the two main characters were sitting in a restaurant... and they were talking about how people can be fake. And the female lead started screaming like she was in pain...

...I do not understand what was going on.. There were no fight scenes... so why was she screaming?

Uh...she's just demonstrating how people can be fake by acting even though there's nothing actually causing her to scream.

Yeah, she's just pretending, that's all. It's like in drama class, where you're acting as a character who's angry at a character another person is playing...but you're not actually angry at the person you're speaking to. That kind of thing.
