[Salem Center is in Westchester, New York, about 4 hours away from the city by car]

I'm Pamela Isley. You can call me either Pamela or Pam. I'm the head of the Botany and Environment club here, and I'm the teaching assistant for Gardening class.

(ooc: Salem Center is one of the southern most points of New York state, if I remember correctly. It's not quite at the state border, but yeah. I think it's also not too far from the east coast. Close enough to be able to drive there without it being a horrendously long trip, anyhow)

Wonderful to meet you, Miss Pamela.

Head of the Botany and Environment club? That certainly sounds interesting...

I've been involved in environmental activism since I was in first grade, and botany's a personal interest of mine. So it made sense to combine them.

Really? That's quite a long time. I've not heard of many first graders interested in environmental activism, or conscientious of environmental concerns at all.

I'm Vidia Faryn. I'm sixteen. I have the ability to fly and slight wind control. Discovered them both when shoved off my old school's roof by a bunch of pr- jerks who thought seeing me splatter on the asphalt would be the height of hilarity.

... That's about it.

[She shrugs.]

[Completely unfazed.]

Really? It's quite lucky for you that you could fly, then. Such a fall would surely have impacted your skull. Though depending on the height of the building, it is entirely possible you could have had a heart attack before ever reaching the ground.

[Cheery smile.]
