Where's the first class service I've heard about?

You there! It seems that the RA has been remiss in his duties explaining how we go about laundry. Surely they don't expect us to do our own.

And what is this I hear about a football team starting up? Why would anyone want to kick a round ball back and forth across the field when they could be playing Rugby instead?

nakuru reed, megan gwynn, rikku strong, harry dresden, tina bell, norman burg, edward elric, velma dinkley, arthur pendragon, sakura haruno, matthew williams, josh newman, doug "onion" knight, riku eysteinn, eli bradley

Yeah, but we don't call that football.

We don't, but they do.

You seem to be mistaken on two fronts.

The first being that we are expected to do our own laundry. I am certain a few people here can show you the basic functions of the washer and dryer at this school. I could if nobody else offers.

The second is that while Football is a name attached to multiple sports across the world. In America it is usually the shorthand name for Gridiron Football. If that helps explain things.

That's very kind of you. However, I can't see how fiddling with a washer and dryer doesn't count as doing your own laundry.

That's quite helpful, yes. What's your name?

We are all expected to do certain personal chores ourselves. It is probably a means to save money on staff. Given how much budget must be allotted to repairs and specialized equipment. With how vast the array of x-gene positive abilities and disabilities students have, its a lot to balance. There must also be some funds set aside in case of dire circumstances.

I could show you how to do your own laundry if you aren't aware. That is, if female students are allowed in the boys dormitories for this sort of simple learning experience.

Velma Dinkley. You have yet to introduce yourself.

Oh, you haven't seen the state of my laundry. I've got to say, dire circumstances doesn't even begin to cover it. Well. If it's a budgetary issue, I'll just have to see about hiring a servant myself.

But for the time being, you might as well show me.

I'm Arthur. Arthur Pendragon. Do you...know who I am?

Hey, um, I think they mean the yank version of football, the one where they have to wear all that ridiculous padding.

But I know what you mean. It's exactly what I've been saying on the matter. Rugby's infinitely more exciting. And manly.

...Right. Well. I suppose if they wanted to look bigger than they are...

Infinitely more manly. And much more character building. Strength, endurance, perseverance...I'm sure you understand what I mean.

Amen to that!

I mean, helmets? Really? I know they try and defend it by whining about how the tackling is all different, but honestly? It's all just excuses!

I know quite a few people have that issue. It usually works itself out, over time, once they've come to terms with their own size.

Exactly! There's a world of difference between taking a hit, and taking a hit. If you're going to be nutting, you might as well do it right.

It's actually American football. And if you don't like it whatever. You don't have to play. Don't act like we shouldn't or something.

Yes. I believe that's been confirmed. It's not American football I have a problem with, it's the pointless running about and shouting. In the other football, that is.

Oh, for Heaven's sakes, I'm not criticizing your game or your right to play it.

Camelot. And you have got to be kidding. Please tell me we have kitchen workers here, at the very least.

...There's Norman, he's the butler, but you're still going to have to do your own laundry.

What are you, some sort of prince? I feel sorry for the state of your clothing then.
