Halloween is coming soon as I'm sure you're all aware of, I was wondering if there'd be interest for a bit of a masquerade ball? Nothing fancy, but it's better than nothing, right?

What exactly did you have in mind?

...Well. It'll be around Halloween. So I was thinking perhaps something dark and spooky ~

I suppose we could. It would be a nice change to plan something like this again.

Exactly! I figure it'd also be an experiment, too. We've never worked on this low of a budget, right?

No one else seems to be doing anything for Halloween, so why not show them how we do it?

Could we do it on such a low budget?

A lot of people have done it on a low budget, just have to make the most with what we have. Experimentation, you know?

Masquerade ball! Usually it's just dressing up nicely with masks, but considering it's almost Halloween, costumes with masks seems appropriate.

...what's the point?

...The same point as any other dance?

A ball sounds lovely and it seems like you mean well, but you shouldn't call other people 'commoners'. We have people from all different backgrounds at this school and we're all supposed to be equal here.

[A tiny bit taken aback here, what.]

I... didn't mean it in any particular group. Just a broad and very general term...

I'm just pointing out that some people might find it offensive, no matter how polite and nice you may be to them otherwise.

Let me know if you need any help in organizing things. Holly J and I worked on the homecoming dance together and I have plenty of white and black decorations left that you could incorporate into a halloween ball.

[Lalala, ignoring the commoner thing now, really.]

Oh~ I think we could use whatever leftover black you have, I know that's one color we will be using! And if we need any help, I'll let you know.

A masquerade sounds like a good idea. I'm sure there'll be a fine turn out even if homecoming wasn't so long ago.

Don't you think we should have a meeting though to talk about the details and get permission from the teachers? Though I'm sure they won't mind, they seem pretty cool about this sort of thing.
