Lining is...a bit tricky. It's do-able, but it's actually one of the harder normal-clothing types of things to sew.

Are the pants in the suit all right, at least? If it's the coat only it wouldn't be as hard to fix.

I'd say probably not but he's been a pretty big baby about this, complaining that it was itchy and all.

I can just drop it by a tailor in the city when we go shopping if it'd be better?

Oh, you don't need to apologize for that. I haven't gotten any requests to sew up homecoming outfits for anyone, so I will have the time to do it. You can drop it off at my dorm room anytime.
