RedWoooods!!!!

MyLyssa and I are taking a long weekend this Sat-Mon (you may recall my "forced" 4 day weekend I mentioned before my trip to Phoenix). We will, as the title sez, be heading to the RedWoods in Northern California.

Uh..let's see..well first..I live in the middle of redwoods..in a cute little cabin in the woods in santa cruz.. so that is a spot.. I'll be in santy cruz on friday and sunday and monday.. and there are campsites here..and we have space..and lots and lots of hiking..

also..it would be neat to meet.. not sure if you or I will have time.. but i'll be up in the bay area saturday ..working security at pagan pride day in berkeley. *smile* doing my part or something like that..

unfortunately for our meating, we are prolly not going any further south than Humboldt Redwood Forest (or whatever it's called). As much as I'd absolutely love to meat up with you (and other SF Zee-types), I just don't think we'll have the time (or gas money). Kai invited us to Annwyfn, which he said is near Ukiah, but even that is prolly a couple hours south of where we'll be going.

but...this is the first time I'll ever have visited the RedWood Forest in my life (we have a few redwoods here and there in my part of Oregon, but I've always wanted to visit a RedWood Forest).

Also, as I take better care of my finances (see next post?), I'll have more money and time to come and visit ya'll in da future, which I would love to do :-)
