I got hired!!!

I FUCKING GOT HIRED!!!!OMFG, I just got off the phone with my new employer. The pay is 30% above the minimum I would have taken, the benefits are AWESOME (with lots of sick and vacation pay, I might add), and it's in my field. It's been exactly 9 months and 1 day since getting laid off

I'm not sure quite yet. I work for a company based in Portland, but they subcontract out to senior centers for help with their Mental Health centers. I'm thinking that I might be able to. I find out more info next week.

One thing nice about this job (like many in this field) is that I don't think I'll hafta "dress-up." Although I enjoyed wearing a suit at my last job, I also enjoy wearing casual clothes during my 40 hours a week, even more. And I'll be more inclined to bike to work, also.
