It is so very nice to have my computer back. Many ThankFul grAttitudes to you who have helped me during this time of Cyber-trials. It's been my Intent to become much more comfortable with Computers, and I've made a conscious choice to take my Cyber education seriously. It's definitely Techgnosis you'll want to tune in to. (The Erik Davis book of this name, by the way, had not yet been written when I first discovered Techgnoisis, which was around 1988...the days of my VERY first exposure to computers, back when even a simple monochrome Mac used to terrify me

Techgnosis, like Metrogeist, the Spirit of the City (for me, San Francisco, but every city has its own Metrogeist) and Pharmakoepois, the patron goddess of mind altering chemistry, is one of those godforms that appreciates lots and lots of exaltation and attention.

Aren't most Entities (godforms, spirits, children...) like that? Little Attention Whores, the lot of 'em.

People take these wonderful machines and their networks for granted. When they go awry often times they become angry at them. This only pisses Techgnosis off, and is highly unlikely to help.

Indeed. Being full of Thanks tends to keep many of Life's problems at bay (no computer pun intended).

I find it unusually effective to find a small object, consecrate it to Techgnosis and glue it or otherwise attach it to the center/top of the monitor (mine is a little glass pyramid with a spiral vortexissimal shape inside it) or if it is a laptop, it should be a flat glyph sticker on the front opening panel. Many happy returns on the resurection of your computer, the ecstacy of the 100 or so hours spent celebrating the anniversary of your liberation into this realm and many more returns that are also hopeful regarding progress with your classes. Thrills and chills that a very different dynamic duo will go forth once more.
On the topic of computer spirits, I find it fascinating how little I know and may you experience much synchronicity in that endeavor.

Yes, I will definitely be making all formal announcements re: classes here in my LJ. I hesitate to say much more right now, but all will be more solidified in the next week or so, for sure.

I do feel confident in unofficially announcing our Energywork class (I hope Fenwick doesn't mind my talking about it), because we've spent so much time and energy writing the Syllabus already. That, and we're both really excited about Teaching about Energywork. Hell, we've already got the class Sigil emPowered. So things are definitely set into motion re: this class. We're just not sure of when it's going to manifest--prolly just a month or 2 pushback. December is insanely busy for Fenwick, and I'm going to be spending lots of time on other things I've already mentioned above.
