"Are we done yet?" Alto complained to his companion(no, he would never admit that he was whining) and rubbed his arms over himself. "It's not a dress, nobody called it a dress. Give it up already."

Just with the obi tied differently.

Gaku sighed and let his hand fall back to his lap, forgetting about his mass of hair for the moment. He looked around the tree long enough to confirm that yes, it was Alto and Len, and though it was fairly dim outside, he could still tell that they were wearing something... abnormal.
Dismissing that for the moment, he settled back where he was sitting and waited until they passed.
"Isn't it a little late for students to be out wandering the grounds?"

He jerked around, "Eh?.... Uh hi Gakupo." He tugged on the skirt again, so far Len had managed not to run into the other Vocaloids--but still was it any different than behind stage in their costumes? "We were heading back anyway. Why are you out here?"
Reply
"Yeah, as soon as this sore loser here admits that he lost."

"Dare I even ask what brought this on?"
Reply
"I told him kimonos are dresses." He looks at Gaku, "They're dresses, aren't they?"
Reply
"-Most definitely not a dress."

Gaku stared at both of them, eyebrow quirked and gaze shifting back and forth several times.
Well... they were asking his opinion...
"Ah... technically... what you're wearing, Alto, is a furisode. Which... is what unmarried women wear."
Sorry, Alto.

"It's a furisode, that's the proper word for it. Not..." Alto gave Len's oufit a lookover and a snort. "... a dress. What's wrong with wearing a furisode anyway? I'm unmarried and I'm--"
Alright, hold it right there, Alto. Gakupo still did not know what your abilities were. And he was more than happy to keep it that way.

There was a sigh then, along with a slight frown as he tried to figure out how to settle the argument. Luckily he was more concerned about that then Alto's sudden stop.
"Men wear kimono, Len. Granted, yes, it's a different style, but Alto has a point. In traditional clothing the closest you'd even get to a 'dress' would be and Uchikake, which is a stage dress or wedding wear, depending on the occasion. When it comes right down to it... you're the one in a dress. He's in a furisode."
And if that didn't settle it he was just going to escort both of them inside and tell them to go to bed.

Chewing on his lip, ".... It's still a dress." No one ever said Len wasn't just as stubborn as Rin. Clearly Gaku was relenting to his dress-wearing look-alike. It wasn't fair at all.

"Sore loser," he sneered, even as he edged closer to Gakupo for warmth. Damn it, why was it so cold here?
Reply
"... cold?" he asked, glancing at Alto.
