This whole thing was pretty stupid in Rin's opinion, why did they need to have dances like this? Wasn't homecoming supposed to deal with sports teams or something equally as dumb as that? Or, well, that's what she had read in her little bit of research on the subject. But she couldn't really turn down an opportunity to dress up pretty and to show off what kind of style she was sure she had.

Thus she came dressed in a yellow and black dress of which she used for a video she didn't typically sing that often, or not one she really considered one of her favorites. For the time being she kept to a wall, humming along to what parts of the music she could catch, watching the door carefully.

It wasn't like they had been to many homecomings. They had just been tutored on their tours until Miku stupid Green screwed everything up. He hadn't read over whatever Rin had pulled up on the subject, but knew it was some sort of silly dance. Which was mildly confusing--did that mean he was expected to waltz?

One way or another, Rin had dragged him and of course had to match her outfit. He hummed along with Rin, wondering if his other bandmates were around here somewhere.

That and the, you know, being barely at a high school age at that, too. Rin wouldn't have honestly cared if there was any kind of real dancing going on in this place, she was more interested in just seeing how these people worked in such groups. She also might have been looking to see if anyone could top her dress, but that was a total girl thing to do and she wasn't about to admit this reason to Len before her being on her death bed thing.

"The music isn't horrible at least," she commented, nudging against Len just a little bit from her spot. "And the music's not that bad."

Len could probably top her dress, but that wasn't because he wanted to. And likewise he would never admit, willingly, to being able to do that. It was among those things that if Rin brought it up, he was going to just jam his head into the ground, fancy frock coat or not.

"It's alright. I wish it were in Japanese. It's hard to understand when they sing so fast." Len nudged her back, twisted his hand into her own.

Really, admitting that he looked so pretty in a dress was probably not the thing she really wanted to do at the moment. So, for the night she wasn't going to mention him being in a dress at any point in time. She could always say something later and shove him in one as usual. But tonight was considered her night for the dress thing and she wasn't about to be upstaged by her own brother.

"Happens when you're fluent, I'd guess." When she felt him get his hand into her's she gave his a gentle squeeze. If she had it her way for the night, more than likely they'd just be left alone without having to deal with the usual stupidity of these people.

Len was fine with Rin being the pretty one tonight. He was fine with her being the pretty one very night.

"Maybe we should go play with Kaito and Green?" Len squeezes her hand back, he would rather just stay with her the whole night, but they should be social right? That was what their manager always said.

She could really get on board with that whole being pretty every night bit, if it wasn't so horribly romantically sappy.

"We might as well, it's not like we have much else to do." And with that she'd go to lead the way towards them once she spotted them, keeping a tight grip on Len's hand the whole way.
