Whack-a-Mole, the home game...
This is both somewhat related and completely opposite of the previous post:
Last week I discovered we are being Invaded by little tiny ants. It's a city-wide problem consisting of the same type of ants, apparently. I've been doing lots of things to combat them, all of them frustrating to me, until tonight when I discovered a new Game!
Whack-an-Ant! I came home from work today and rather than getting all flustered about the damn ants, as soon as I turned on the lights the ants went running. Their running brought out my natural Hunter instincts, and I proceeded to see how quickly I could kill them all before they escaped.
My bodily movements made me crack-up as I seemed to go into Territorial "Whack-An-Ant" mode. And then I realized that, until I can solve this problem (assuming I can), I had best not let it get me all in a tiff. So every time I see ants now, rather than get angry for them being in my Home, I should thank them for the opportunity to play my new favorite Game, Whack-An-Ant!
