The Mopes is a band I'm doing, I sing and play guitar and write it all. I don't know how to describe it since most of the songs are fairly different from one another so far. I think "twee-pop" or even "indie-pop" might be accurate. Guitar, bass, drums, ghetto casio type keyboard, boy girl vocals. Kind of on the C86 or Sarah Records tip (Not sure if you're into that stuff but I am deep into it), but some stuff might sound more along the lines of the rentals or something. Anyway, I really like it, its the most fun band I've been in so far I think.
bad brains the band were perfect. HR was insane and out of his mind. they played the best set list and definitely played some tracks off of build a nation. including the hardest intro i have ever heard.
mopes. if it sounds like the rentals i will love it.
I'll get you recordings when theyre done, soon hopefully. I can't believe how pretentious that description paragraph sounds, please excuse me. Sad I missed Bad Brains, did you mosh?
