ew, mono is really horrible, i had it when i was in 3rd grade and i lost ten pounds in under two weeks and had strep on top of it, and i remember looking in the mirror and seeing my glands pop out of my throat.

if its just strep and not mono, it might just have been too early to get tested for strep and it might come later.

wait. why am i telling you all this?? you're mom's a nurse, she'd know more than i do, haha.

well, this throat thing has been bothering me for almost a week, and I haven't had strep in a loooooong time, so I don't think that's it.

The doctor said if it wasn't mono, it's some mono-like virus, and it'll just need time to run it's course. which is so ridiculous.
