I have a thing for ferry boats :-) I'd planned to take a trip this summer to Victoria, taking the Washington State Ferry from Anacortes to Victoria, spending a day or two in Victoria, then driving to Nanaimo, taking a BC Ferry to Vancouver, spending a day in Vancouver, and then driving back to Seattle on I-5. Unfortunately, I never got the chance to go :-(

It's such a gorgeous ferry route! I absolutely loved it. You'll have to come back and do it next summer!

Sounds like you are having a blast!! I love Victoria. All the cute shops, pubs and places to have tea. The Vancouver Museum is awesome. They have the best collection of North West Native American finds. I hope you got lots of pictures. Do we get another photo journal of Kirsten's trip? I loved the last one. ;)

We didn't spend long in Victoria so I didn't see a lot of that. You and I will just have to go sometime! ;)

I don't have photos of the road trip (except for out-the-window-shots of "OMFG!THEY'RESHOOTING STARGATE THERE!"), but I've taken a TON of other photos that I'll be uploading when I get back to Seattle!
