Tarzan 2 and Vendetta

Feb 25, 2006 23:16

The rain is coming! Yaaaaay! We're under a "winter storm watch" (such as they are in SoCal) for Monday and Tuesday... supposed to get 1.5-2" of rain starting late Sunday night. That means more sleeping while I listen to rain on the roof. It's my guilty Seattlite pleasure. :P But I'm suddenly very glad that our Conservation Bio lab on Monday ( Read more... )

She's not one of the lead leads, but she's in it a fair amount! She plays the girlfriend of Daniel Baldwin's character.

In all fairness regarding parking, a lot of the spaces in San Diego are incredibly tiny. Like, I don't have a very large vehicle, but sometimes, my car barely fits... like in Mission Valley two-story Target parking lot, those spaces are TINY, I don't even fit in just one spot.

Yeah, Mission Valley's are small (even I get freaked out parking at the Borders in Mission Valley and I have a compact Saturn), but these particular spaces are HUGE. I've seen big trucks (the ones with two rear wheels on each side) park in them no problem. This person had an average-size SUV - they have no excuse. And the really bad one I saw yesterday was in the IPJ garage on campus, with a small SUV. Again, those spaces are a pretty good size - especially when the garage isn't crowded (it rarely is on Fridays). They were just being lazy.

Yeah, I hate the lazy ones, it's just not cool.

I'm SO looking forward to the rain. I like hearing it, and my car's dirty and I haven't felt like washing it. :p I saw a kid staring at my car this morning and I have a feeling they were boggling at the dirtiness.

I'm glad you enjoyed Tarzan II...it was one of the movies we had in the Epcot Baby Care Center, but I just was never able to get into it...it never really grabbed my attention, and I loved Tarzan. Ah well; I'm glad you enjoyed it, it did seem cute, it just never held me. (I think that's the only movie in Baby Care that I never watched all the way through...slow days were GREAT...getting paid to watch Stitch Has a Glitch, Toy Story, and Cinderella was GREAT...I watched all of the Toy Story bonus features on a slow day at work when no guests came in at all.) We also had the Epcot DVD that they sell alone or in that Happiest (Whatever you prefer) on Earth 5-disc box set (the 4 WDW parks + DL)...that was sort of blah. A few interesting facts and a nice cameo of kids-meeting-Aladdin-in-Morocco, but played like an extended ad...and BOO for calling it the "Happiest Celebration on Earth" DVD and making no mention of Soarin'...wtf? (No Food Rocks either, so I'm sure they were in transition, but still, you can't tell me they would have ( ... )

Awwww! I wish I'd gotten to watch movies in work! (aside from the millions of movies I saw in chunks between sets) In Adventureland, though, in Island Supply, we got to listen to the Lilo and Stitch CD on repeat. :P
