Time

Come on puppy let's run and play.
I've only had you for a day
But I love you more with each moment spent
It's weird how fast these hours went.

A month or so has gone with you
And everyday is something new.
Your energy seems to cease never
I know I'll be with you forever.

Two years now and more to come
I'd tell it all but too much we've done.
