worst thing ever.

last night i was driving home after class, stressed out and tired, and i see this white blur run across the street a few cars ahead of me. obviously I slow down in case it decides to run back, and im always afraid of hitting an animal. but I didnt have to worry about that, because one of the cars in front of me hit it instead, and kept on driving.

Oh wow that sucks. I can't understand people who don't stop when they hit an animal..it's cowardly, really. But good for you for stopping and trying to help! I had a similar experience this summer-I was driving at night and there was a raccoon that had been hit in the middle of the road. I called the police to see if they could do anything about it, and I went back to see if I could like try to move it off the road, but it was gone by the time I went back. That's a little easier, because at least I can tell myself maybe it was o.k. It's hard being compassionate sometimes, but we sure as hell can sleep better at night than those asses who don't care enough to stop. Eventually the shock will kind of wear off and it won't keep coming horrifically into your mind, I promise.
