Whoa, harsh is right. But for all its darkness, it also illuminates certain things we diehard shippers don't like to think about too much. Beautifully written, as always, this really packs a punch.

The weight sinks low in her abdomen as a swollen blossom would hang tenuously from its slender stem.

What a fabulously palpable image.

Yes, I was a bit reticent about giving this as a gift. Secret Santas should be fun! But at least it was fun to write for me. It's always a challenge to do dark and angsty but still keep the lurve there. Glad you enjoyed it, even my torrid imagery!
