I really like the gifts. Also, the story fits well into the cannon time line. Thanks for writing it!

Thanks! I love this episode too. Even though there were some clunkers, I have a huge soft spot for Season 6.

You're spoiling me, Santa - I can't believe this is only a teaser gift!

I love fics that speculate about what gifts they gave each other after HTGSC and this is easily one of the best exchanges I've read. SO them! I love that she stayed to watch the video with him, that they both wondered about a kiss, that she extended an invite, that he declined it.

Yup. In love with this little fic. THANK YOU so much! :D

And thank you! "What were their gifts?" is such a popular piece of fandom speculation that it was a little daunting to tackle, but I couldn't resist the temptation for this challenge. I'm so pleased that you enjoyed this little teaser, especially as the ending isn't fulfilling in the conventional sense.

this is nice. a little casual, a little sexy, a little sweet, a little everything, it would appear.

i enjoy the second to last paragraph - good scully descriptions are wondeful, and this one covers a lot of ground in only a few words. i also really like that they/we don't get more out of the evening. this is a really great aperitif, and to be left wanting, in this case, is delightful.

Awesome! Thank you so much. I'm glad it hit so many notes for you. I wanted it to just be a little one-shot peek into their day-to-day lives, not anything grand or revealing.
