more fun adventures on the chinatown bus

so, last night, dear friends, bryan and i were stranded (along with 53 others) at a rest stop on 95 for 4 hours. our pimp hat wearin' bus driver (read: the dude had a feather stuck in his cap, not quite yankee doodle style) announced that the bus was undrivable and he would no longer put our lives in danger. he pulled into a rest stop and we waited ( Read more... )

I've heard stories of the chinatown bus from a co-worker, but never something so dramatic as an undrivable bus. Hopefully your delay helped you avoid the northbound backup in DE. I couldn't believe the 15 mile parking lot we witnessed as we headed south.

by the time we got on the road, there was no traffic. barely any cars on the road even. :) so, i guess if there's an upside, it's that. but, i dunno, i think we were bound for torture that night. four hours at a rest stop roy rogers isn't how i was hoping to spend my sunday night. :)
