I think 140 is their highest score, cause that's what I got and I know mine is higher than that. The point is the "genius" rating on each of the skills.

I'm certainly no genius, which is what I was making reference to in the title. I've heard some of the talking sheep assert that they were in the "genius bracket" because they scored in the ninety-ninth percentile, statistically - by some tests - somewhere between 135 and 140 and above.
If the top two percent of the hairless apes are genies, then there are about 150 million of them. That's a lot of enigmatic thinking going on. They've definitely got me fooled.

Ah, but all an IQ test does is measure POTENTIAL. It doesn't matter if you're IQ is 200 if all you do is sit on the couch watching ESPN and eating doritos. My ex-husband was off the charts, but he was the quintescential underachiever, and therefore has done nothing with his potential genius.

During an IQ test, when I was sixteen, the proctor was becoming noticibly excited. In retrospect this obviously had an effect on me.
I agree that the intent of the test is to measure potential, but the tests are meaningless to me. If it can be done the only true measure of intelligence would be to gage adaptability.
Without getting too philosophical I will say this. I ascribe myself to the zeroth IQ state. Only a true agnostist can know anything.
Seems that the smarter people get the dumber they are.
