hey xerlic, how are you? this is drizztduden, the real one (hope you remember). i read some of the stuff above and you didnt' mention anything about merona. what happened to them?

i'm currently back into the swing of things and it's kind of sad things went the wrong way for good reasons. hope that makes any sense but yeh things went a little crazy for me in real life. and plus the game got kind of boring doing the same thing over and over. don't get me wrong, there were a lot of fun stuff to do as well but took wayyy too much time
just to get to it. if you or anybody who reads this post let me know if you guys came back or is still playing the game. would like to keep in contact of the old people who i knew back then.

if someone wishes to make an ls just for socializing i'm down. i play in phoenix btw.

Merona is still around. He runs a gaming community website called Impact Gaming. URL is http://www.impact-gaming.us. They run FFXIV, Rift, and Star Wars the old republic currently.

Hey xer! this is coquito :) just dropped by to say hello. No point in asking how you're doing as you've already answered that. Anyway I was looking to troll the karasu forums but I guess they're down, or they changed the url but I found this LJ so the google search wasn't pointless after all! This was a nice way to get up to speed with some of my fellow ex-karasu buddies lol.

After leaving FFXI I've had time to reflect upon my time playing it and all I can say is that I definitely do not regret spending the better part of 3 years playing and reading this makes me feel like that one guy who looks back to his high school days and then sees what everyone else went off to do after that. I'm really proud of everyone, and I really miss them all!

Hiya Coquito. Good to hear from you and glad to see things are well with you. Those days were definitely fun and I also regret nothing, but it's definitely in the past.

I heard from Nicblue that Karasu broke up shortly after the server merge with Phoenix since a lot of the leaders stopped playing - Madmax disappeared and BH joined the Navy - so Vilhem just let the domain name expire.
