1. Molly Graham is being cast right now. (And there's gonna be another fucking time jump in the middle of the season into the Red Dragon storyline, and uggggggghhhhhh, the writer in me is cringing

Well, looks like I'm going to be happier than Olaf the snowman when summer rolls around. Except . . . why don't we get to see Will and Molly's relationship beginning? I'd love to watch that. We didn't get to see that in the book, if I recall. Missed opportunity much?

Yes, we'll all celebrate when Reba gets cast. :) (I really liked how Emily Watson portrayed her in the movie. That's my standard.)

THIS. This is why I'm pissed with the time jump. I'm blaming Fuller's decision to smash the "Hannibal on the run" and Red Dragon plots into one season. IT'S SO FRUSTRATING. (This post sums up all my thoughts on why Molly just popping into existence is so wrong for the show.)

I'm really worried that Molly's being cast/discussed right now, yet there's been no word on Reba. Based on the article, Molly's appearing in Ep. 8 and, yeah. . .WHERE'S REBA?

Maybe Fuller's continuing RD into S4 and she'll show up then. But if they're smashing in Molly and Will's relationship with no build-up, I don't think it's a good sign for Reba and her relationship with Dolarhyde. . .and I'm gonna stop because this is the type of thing I'm trying to avoid.

I'm hoping for flashbacks, or lots of reminiscing in Will's Fishing Mind Palace. Also, that's a great and thoughtful post. Puts it into better words than I could.

I'm hoping for flashbacks, or lots of reminiscing in Will's Fishing Mind Palace.

I think this has been confirmed based on other comments I've seen. Flashbacks still make my eyes twitch because it is another detached form of storytelling.

Why can't Molly be introduced earlier in the season and show her and Will dating? Then--if we must--time jump to them married. There will be emotional stakes already laid out and it won't feel like Molly's being forced on us; much like how the Vergers were so late into the season.

I don't know if this was in the post I linked, but I saw someone say that cramming Molly in makes it look like Fuller thinks of her as a secondary character and not worthy of development like Dolarhyde. Molly gets shit on a lot and here, in a 13-episode format, they could've spent the time fleshing her out and make her someone other than "Will's worried wife".
